Cuttlefish are masters of color changes. These remarkable cephalopods can alter their appearance in less than a second. To do so, they use three specialized types of skin cells called chromatophores, iridophores, and leucophores. Color changes help them camouflage among corals, stalk prey, and communicate with other cuttlefish. For close-up shots like this one, careful divers use zoom functions when shooting and processing their videos.
