I recommend beginning with resin jewelry. With just 180g of resin, you can make around 40 small pieces, making it a great way to learn while keeping costs low.
For colors, start with five basic pigments: white, black, yellow, red, and blue. Whether you choose powder or paste pigments, both work well. These five colors can be mixed to create many more shades.
