Taiwan Gov't Pushes Back on Xiamen’s Cross-Strait Outreach

Xiamen has proposed 12 measures to strengthen cross-strait ties, including infrastructure projects like bridges and power links to Jinmen, alongside economic and cultural exchanges. However, Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council has stated that such projects cannot be decided unilaterally by China and are not currently on Taiwan's agenda.
