DeKalb County offers cooling centers to beat the heat

Due to extreme heat, DeKalb County has activated cooling centers, including Frontline Response in Gresham Park. These centers provide air conditioning, meals, and transportation for unhoused individuals and residents unable to afford electricity, ensuring vulnerable populations have a safe environment to escape dangerous temperatures.
