Our Harvest Is Growing — I Can’t Believe This Part Is Already Over

Our harvest is growing fast, but one important part of the sweet corn season came to an end today.

We begin the day harvesting and packing sweet corn, then head into the fields for zucchini, cucumbers, and pickling cukes as the summer harvest keeps building across the farm.

Later, the day shifts from harvesting back to planting as I head out for our final sweet corn planting of 2026. This patch should carry our harvest through the end of September, making today a special milestone—even though the busiest part of the season is still ahead of us.

Planting sweet corn may be finished, but the harvesting is just getting started.
