Trump expected to choose ‘insider’ as new White House press secretary

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has commented on the search for a new White House press secretary to replace the outgoing Karoline Leavitt.
“There are a variety of names, all of whom are essentially inside the family,” he told News24.
“It’s going to be somebody who already works for the President or works for his favourite media outlet, Fox News; they’re not going to go very far afield.
“Trump only got 26 months in office. I don’t think he’s going to roll the dice on an unknown quantity.
“When you do hear the name, it’s highly unlikely that you’re going to be surprised by the name.”
