2 dead in early morning southwest Atlanta house fire

Two people have died following a devastating early morning house fire in Southwest Atlanta off Valley Ridge Drive. Atlanta Fire Rescue responded to the scene around 4:15 AM, finding a blaze that consumed the entire structure from the carport to the attic. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
