After escaping the Soviet Union in the 1980s, a Jewish family from Odessa settles in New York, hoping to build a quiet and honest life. They open a small neighborhood bathhouse in the district known as “Little Ukraine,” trying to create a place where immigrants can feel at home while they adapt to a new country and new rules.

But life in the city is far from simple. Old habits, financial pressure, and dangerous connections from the past slowly pull the family into risky situations. As the father dreams of a better future for his son, the family must decide how far they are willing to go to protect their business, their reputation, and the fragile hope of the American dream.
