Finding Your Voice in Good Things|White Kohiki & Shinogi: Potter Yoshikuni Goto's Process
Ceramic artist Yoshikuni Goto. Working in Motegi, Tochigi, he is known for white vessels made with Mashiko clay, carved with shinogi facets and finished in kohiki white slip.
In this film, alongside scenes from his studio, he speaks about how his path began not with a love of pottery but with a longing for a certain way of life, the years when he had no idea what he should be making, and how he arrived at the belief that all you can do is make what you yourself love.
