Koh Igarashi , Guitarist🇯🇵

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Koh Igarashi graduated from Tokyo College of Music. After receiving prizes in five guitar competitions, he has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in Japan and abroad.Performing in a distinctive no-nail style, he pursues an exceptionally soft and delicate tone on the Koh Igarashi Model, a hybrid instrument inspired by both the 19th-century guitar and the modern classical guitar.

He is the artistic director of the concert series Guitar to Seijaku ("Guitar in Serenity"), where he explores a musical aesthetic inspired by the Japanese concepts of Zen and Yūgen, as well as Yohaku no Bi (The Art of Emptiness).
