Ahead of his MCU return in Avengers Doomsday, Chris Evans’ tattoo artist shared the first look at the Captain America star’s matching ink he got with his OG Avengers costars in 2018. “Just a tip of the hat to one of my favorite people before Avengers Doomsday comes out!” East Side Ink tattoo artist Josh Lord wrote in a Aug. 12 Instagram post. “This guy has been there for me during hard times and I’m always honored to be his friend and tattooer.” In his post, Lord shared a video compilation of photos and clips of Evans over the years, including footage of the 45-year-old lifting up his shirt to show off his Avengers tattoo. The ink features an “A” for the Marvel superhero team, the number six for the six core original members and symbols representing each character: Captain America (Evans), Iron Man (Downey Jr.), Black Widow (Johansson), Thor (Hemsworth), The Incredible Hulk (Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Renner).
