Anyone Can Build an AI Email Assistant Now (Claude Code, No Code)

I'm not a coder. I typed one plain-English sentence into Claude Code and it read my inbox, walked the emails one at a time, and suggested a reply for each one. Then I asked it to turn that into a reusable tool I can run any time. No Gmail setup, no API key, no code.

Heads up before you start: Claude Code needs a paid Claude plan (Pro at about $20/month minimum, or pay-as-you-go API). The free Claude.ai plan does not include it. I say that on camera too, because a "anyone can do this" video should be honest about the cost.

The prompt I used:
"Read the emails in this folder, show them to me one at a time, give me a short summary and a suggested reply for each, and let me approve, edit, or skip before moving on."
