And Spain's World Cup hero Ferran Torres is closing in on a move to PSG. The French club

PSG, they've reached an agreement for a deal reportedly worth around 63 million dollars
plus around 6 million in add-ons. The 26-year-old Spanish forward is set to leave Catalonia after
four and a half years at Barcelona. Ferran Torres was due to return to Barcelona training on
Wednesday. However, he has been given permission to miss training as his camp focuses on finalizing
his move to PSG. Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has approved the decision with the German already
aware that Torres is unlikely to be part of his squad next season. Torres has become a national
hero overnight after scoring the decisive goal in Spain's 2026 World Cup triumph. A performance
that significantly boosted his stock. Before the tournament, he had been a useful but inconsistent
presence for Barcelona and Spain. But his World Cup heroics changed that scenario with Champions
League holders PSG taking notice.
