Fake DTE worker's wife sentenced for role in 2024 murder

Amanda Hernandez has been sentenced to 57 months to 20 years in prison for her role in planning a fatal robbery. She assisted her husband, Carlos Hernandez, and an accomplice who posed as utility workers to rob jeweler Hussein Murray in Rochester Hills, resulting in Murray's murder. While her husband and the co-defendant are serving life sentences, Hernandez received a shorter term after a plea deal.
