Former U.S. Marine Robert Gilman released from Russia after more than four years

Robert Gilman, a 32-year-old former U.S. Marine who was detained in Russia for over four years, has returned to the United States. His release was granted on humanitarian grounds following a conversation between President Trump and President Putin. Gilman has reunited with his family and is being transported to Texas for medical treatment.
