Kathiew or Kuy Teav is a Cambodian Rice Noodle Dish made with pork and beef bones. This dish uses fresh rice noodles and garnished with herbs and veggies. Perfect comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you are a noodle soup fan, try this recipe!
Ingredients:
1 package rice noodles,
1 medium yellow onion,
1 medium daikon,
1 package beef meatball,
2 pieces of bone marrow,
1.5 lbs pork neck bone,
1 lb beef eye round,
1 lb of ground pork,
Flavor bomb packet:
1 tsp coriander seeds,
1 piece star anise,
1/2 cinnamon stick,
2 shiitake mushroom,
1 piece pickled daikon or radish,
15 pieces of medium dried shrimp,
1 whole garlic,
1 whole shallot
Seasoning:
1 tbsp chicken bouillon,
1-2 tbsp fish sauce,
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
adjust as needed
Garnish:
1 bunch of cilantro,
1 bunch of spearmint,
1 bunch Thai basil,
Handful of bean sprout,
1 lime,
Sriracha sauce,
Hoisin sauce
