Preschool worker charged after alleged assault of 2-year-old

A former employee at Newtown Discovery Preschool is facing child endangerment and simple assault charges after investigators say she allegedly assaulted a 2-year-old boy while working at the Bucks County facility.

The preschool said Erin Burke, 27, was fired following the incident, calling her actions "unacceptable."
