Dr. Scott Miller teams up with volunteers at The Agile Project to care for rescued wallabies, bottle-feeding orphaned joeys and carrying out vital health checks.
Two children fome into the clinic with a tiny Finch bird they found dazed on their patio. Fearing a broken wing, they’re relieved when the vet suspects only a mild concussion and sends the bird home to rest and recover.
A squirrel glider with a swollen jaw is examined, and vets uncover a painful abscess requiring delicate dental work.
In the early hours of the morning, vets and volunteers set out to rescue wallabies from busy housing estates and roadside danger, safely relocating them with the help of sweet potato bait.

Vet on the Hill is a fascinating and often emotional insight into the highs and lows of our busy UK veterinary clinics.

We follow Dr Scott Miller, a charismatic Australian Vet treating beloved pets at his Richmond Practice. From cats and dogs and more unusual pets coming into his surgery to seeing much bigger and wilder animals outside the clinic, no two days are the same.

Vet On The Hill also features South African vet Michael Lazaris, now working in London, Yorkshire vet Louisa Graham and Michael Hamilton and Pete Smith working out of a lively Buckinghamshire based practice.
