Classical Dance "Refreshing Wind" | San Diego Oriental Dance Company |

The classical dance "Gentle Breeze" is based on the Qing Dynasty painting "Ladies Seated with Fans." Through exquisite technique and delicate performance, the dancers vividly present the figures of the ladies in the painting to the audience.

Holding round fans, the dancers express the agility and playfulness of young girls in the form of a women's fan dance. The subtle movements of the fans and the dancers' gentle laughter and soft voices—every movement is full of poetry and artistry.

The San Diego Oriental Dance Company completed this evocative work in 2024. Following its performance at ACCEF, it participated in the Spotlight Regional, Spotlight National, and Showstopper West Coast Final competitions, winning first place in the grand slam and receiving the Judge’s Choice - Timeless Talent award.
