Big Boy Climbs The Wasatch Grade WITHOUT a Diesel!

In a very rare scenario the 4014 Big Boy climbed up Echo Canyon and the Wasatch grade without a diesel assist on April 20, 2026 during the Coast to Coast tour. Not that this short train was any kind of a workout for the Big Boy but still very rare non the less.

The rest of the passenger train with UP1616 ran back to Council Bluffs on its own the same day. This short clip will be part of a longer production.
