Massive Peppers and Our Biggest Tomatoes in Years — Here’s Why They Got So Big

#farming #agriculture
We’re harvesting some of the biggest and healthiest peppers we’ve grown in years — and our tomato might look even better.
In this video, our crew heads into the pepper field for a huge harvest, with plenty of satisfying picking sounds and some seriously impressive peppers. Then we move over to the cantaloupe patch and harvest another bin of melons before taking a closer look at some of the biggest tomatoes we’ve grown in a long time.
Tomato varieties we grew this year: Rambler, Roadster, STM2255, Red Snapper, GTO, Contessa, Laguna Red, Mariana Roma and Carolina Gold.
Bell Pepper varieties we grew this year: Big Stack, Redfish, PS09941919 and Revolution.
So what made the peppers and tomatoes grow this well?
At the end of the video, I walk through how I fertilize both crops and explain what we’ve been doing this season to keep the plants healthy and producing big, high-quality vegetables.
It’s peak summer harvest season here at Wishwell Farms, and this is when months of planting, fertilizing, irrigating, and managing these crops finally start paying off.
Thanks for following along and supporting our farm!
