Farmer Digs New Well And Finds An Intact Underground City From Ancient Times

Ezra Kowalczyk had dug wells on his own land before. This one, sunk deeper than usual after a dry season, broke through into open space where solid ground should have been.

What he found beneath his pasture wasn't a cave or a sinkhole. It was a corridor — cut stone, deliberately shaped, running further than his flashlight could reach.

Archaeologists who came to investigate found chamber after chamber, preserved by centuries of total darkness, forming what appeared to be a small, forgotten underground settlement.
