Shen Yun's 20th Anniversary: Shen Yun Fine Art Giclée Exhibition Opens, Featuring the Largest Print:A New Era Begins

Babies. Thank you for joining us at today's opening ceremony. I'd like to welcome everyone to new Middletown. It's my great honor to be tonight's host in today's one-of-a-kind unveiling of a special month-long exhibition right here in the heart of Middletown. This exhibition commemorates something very special, the 20th anniversary of Shen Yun Performing Arts. For two decades, Shen Yun has traveled the world far and wide, reviving the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. In 2024, as the in-house design team at Shen Yun Collections thought about how to celebrate this anniversary, they asked a simple question, how can I capture the magic on stage and bring it home? And I think, as we stand here today, the answer is before you all. For months, the team of artists and designers poured over hundreds of stage performances and reimagined the stage in vivid, real-world environments. The spirit of each stage, I believe, has been brought to life on campus. Each print is held to a gold standard. What you're looking at today is exclusive giclee print using archival pigment technology, the same Hanemue standard used by top galleries in Paris, London, and New York. It's vibrant, textured, and built to last over a century. This means that the colors and fine detail you see today will remain vibrant for your grandchildren and generations to come. Soon, at 6 p.m., when you walk through the showcase, notice each print has a history of up to 5,000 years printed below it. Many reference fantastical myths, sprawling palaces, or the divine. The qualities of virtue, elegance, timeless beauty also reflect the heart of Shen Yun. Now, I'm pleased and privileged to be joined by a true leader whose dedication to the growth and vitality of Middletown have helped make this city a wonderful place to live, work, and celebrate the arts. Please welcome Mayor Joseph Stefano, the star of tonight. Let's count down together from three. Ready? Three, two, one. Before you step down, please give them a round of applause. And now, at this point, please take your time to walk around. Enjoy the live music behind us. This might be the first thing. What room in your house, as a gift for your presence for the next three days only, these limited edition pieces will be 15% off. Enjoy. Well, we're just happy that, A, that they invited us to attend. It's a huge celebration, 20 years, 20 years of success, of a growing program. I've attended the show, I know how beautiful it is, and we've had a sort of a partnership down here, where they've made a big difference in our downtown, taking this old abandoned building and making it this beautiful building that they have right now. So, we have nothing but positive things and positive vibes about Shenyan, and entirely the Asian community, primarily from Feitian College on down. The impact they've had on our community, the positive economic impact, the beautiful people that have come into our community, and it's just wonderful to be here celebrating with them. Shenyan's extraordinary journey, New Middletown's a brand new chapter, and a deep belief that Shenyan Collections already believes new collections will sprout and grow from today's foundation, creating a long-lasting legacy with Shenyan's growing repertoire. You are witnessing a historical beginning of that legacy of fine art, and a tapestry of history woven right at this very moment. Finally, I would like for everyone who made this exhibition, two years of endless work, is finally seeing the light. You should all feel very proud. I'd also like to thank you, our honored guests, for experiencing this opening together. I hope these works continue to inspire you long after this night is over. Thank you for joining us in celebrating art, culture, and a wonderful 20 years of Shenyan Performing Arts. Thank you.
