Homer's Odyssey - The Real History & Archaeology Behind The Myth

Composed well over 2500 years ago, Odysseus' long and perilous journey home after the fall of Troy is quite simply one of the greatest stories ever told. Filled with monsters, gods, and legendary lands, The Odyssey blurs the veil between myth and reality. Yet behind its fantastical yarn-spinning of witches and cannibal giants lies the real world of the Late Bronze Age Mediterranean. Shaped by ancient kingdoms, genuine seafaring cultures, and groundbreaking archaeological discoveries.

With the new Nolan movie coming out today, I just had to investigate the real story behind the myth. And what a story it is!!
