White Peony Painting Instructions: (Flower Section)

Base Color Application:
1. If using pine and bamboo Xuan paper (commonly known as floral Xuan paper), be sure to apply the base color to the back to minimize damage to the paper surface.

2. After spraying the back of the paper where you want to paint the flower, first brush on the lightest base color (red, orange, purple, yellow, green, blue, etc. are all acceptable).

3. To avoid damaging the paper, use a rolling brush technique to apply the darker parts of the flower, and let it dry completely before using.

4. If you see obvious color boundaries, water stains, or watermarks after applying the base color, it's considered a failure.

Painting the Flowers: If using white poster paint, be sure to add an appropriate amount of glue; otherwise, the paint will easily bleed during mounting, and it will be ruine
