Where the hell are we? We're at the hardware store, Niche, getting hardware for our Tyrolean. Tube to protect the tree. Ice! Wow, that's cool that it worked. Going back. Sorry! Basically turned a hill that was like, I don't know, felt like 45 degrees into a bunch of little switchbacks. Opening a new zone. Little cleaning down there from Josh and Daniel on the trail. New country, new bolting adventure. This time it's gonna be a bit different because we're gonna have to bolt from up. That's scary. Just one more bolt. Put a cap in the undercling but when I hang on it, this thing exploded. So I took a nice little weeper and... You ended up upside down? Yeah. Hiking out from day one up in the cave. I started bolting a line in the middle of the cave behind me. I didn't have enough bolts so I stopped halfway but it allows me to get a good view up in the roof and it looks pretty featured so that's promising for the next days when we'll have more bolts.
