Christchurch, New Zealand.
It is 8.40.
We're up and running.
Got our rental car,
our camping supplies,
and living out of the vehicle supplies.
We're heading to...
Castle Hill!
Castle Hill Tease Day.
We're driving to Springfield
to see Homer Simpson.
I hope he's there.
We're driving through cows,
cow ----, cow fields,
and green hills.
Mountain!
We're full 100% living in nature
out of our car.
First impressions?
Surreal.
This is Josh.
First boulder in...
Castle Hill!
Ah!
Oh, ----.
I think it goes left, though.
Maybe.
Nice.
Way up to the right.
The mornings and daytimes are too warm,
but the night is really nice,
so we've been getting after it in the evenings.
We've been touring around Spittle.
Castle Hill is one of those places
that's kind of on the other side of the world,
and I never thought I would actually come here.
I'm here with my love, Charlotte.
This is for her.
I didn't know I'm behind the camera.
I don't know how much limestone bouldering
I've done in my life,
but judging by my fail versus success rate,
I haven't done a lot of it.
I think everything requires a bit more patience
than you're used to,
and don't pay attention to the grades.
Kind of like font,
just pay attention to your feet.
Classics, boulders, everywhere.
