Extended Half Double Crochet | How to Crochet

A few weeks ago I introduced you to the extended single crochet stitch, today we will learn how to crochet the Extended Half Double Crochet Stitch. The group of extended basic crochet stitches are great stitches for when you wish to add some height to a project. They are easy to work and when added to a crochet pattern give the design more drape and a little more interest than a basic stitch.

This crochet pattern is written using American crochet terms.

For this tutorial I will be using a small amount of a worsted weight yarn in a single colour and a 5mm crochet hook.
