AI GeneratedThis video explores a collection of mysterious and unexplained images and videos captured by trail cameras in remote wilderness areas. From cryptid-like creatures and glowing orbs to high-speed footage and strange aerial entities, the content highlights sightings that defy conventional wildlife databases and rational explanations.
Trail cameras are supposed to catch deer, bears, the occasional trespasser, but some
of these images and videos show things that seem completely out of place.
From strange creatures lurking beside trees, to glowing objects moving through remote forests,
and footage of something tearing through the woods with impossible force, these hunting
cameras caught something that isn't in any wildlife database.
This weird trail camera image from Southern Ohio was posted to Reddit by Fantastic underscore
He was looking through photos his dad's trail cam captured when he came across this odd
looking creature low to the ground next to the tree.
Here it is zoomed in.
The Redditor and his dad have no idea what the thing is.
One commenter said 100% a chupacabra, another said the jersey devil, then there's this comment.
Either a real animal at a weird angle, or a cryptid for sure looks like some alien creature.
People have posted all kinds of guesses, and all of them are really different.
One person said my lord I see at least 10 things.
I see a baby fawn, an orangutan from the side, a weird cat in the tree hugging it, seriously
WTF.
To me, it kinda looks like a baby hippo, doesn't it?
The most rational explanation I saw though was either a grey squirrel or a turkey at
a very specific angle, but what do you all think this one looks like?
This trail camera captured some very odd glowing orbs.
The images were posted to Reddit by Epigram__in__h, who never got a satisfying answer.
They wrote,
Just found these photos on my trail cam and I have no idea what to make of them.
There are bright white objects that, judging by the different position of the two photos
taken 10 seconds apart, appear to be moving.
I've never seen anything like this in the years that I've been monitoring my cabin.
I can confirm there's nothing remotely reflective around the cabin, and given that you can clearly
see underneath the object, it's not an animal or person.
What's particularly weird to me is that there appears to be a faint helix pattern coming
off the bottom of the object.
I know sometimes things triggered in night vision mode can appear white, example of something
falls in front of the camera, rain, etc, but it was bone dry that night.
For context, this cabin is pretty deep in the woods in northern Ontario.
It's only accessible by foot, and the closest road is about 2km away.
I very, very rarely catch trespassers coming in, but generally only in hunting season and
generally only in the day, not at 10pm when you can't see your hand in front of your face
around there.
And this trail cam footage was posted to Reddit by user unusual__low1090, who said it was
captured in the fall in northeast Missouri, in the hills near the Mississippi River.
There are two mysterious flashes of light, notice something zips away at high speed after
the first flash.
The uploader said the trail camera was set up along the edge of a bean field facing the
base of a steep ridge.
Unusual Low also said they thoroughly searched the area afterward and couldn't find anything
that might explain what the camera captured.
It's also odd that the flashes appear to be only 40-50 yards away from the deer, yet the
deer doesn't react at all.
If there was a person nearby with a flashlight or something, it would have taken off running.
After showing the video to several people, nobody could offer a convincing explanation.
Their best guess was that it was some extremely rare natural phenomenon, something similar
to ball lightning.
Now, a couple commenters said that maybe the flashes were caused by another trail camera.
Seems logical, but the uploader responded saying there weren't any other cameras in
the vicinity that could have caused these lights that I saw.
It's in the middle of a large, rugged, wooded property.
It's possible a poacher came in and placed a camera and we either didn't see it or he
came and got it, but there's never been much of a poacher problem on that property.
These trail camera photos were posted to Reddit by user Rosetti, saying he'd been finding
some pretty strange things in the woods of southern Kentucky.
Around the area, he kept coming across unusual tracks, along with odd stick structures that
looked like someone or something had built them.
He also found a small pile of rocks with a bone carefully placed on top one day.
Curious about what might be out there, he strapped a trail camera about seven feet up
a tree.
When he came back later, the camera had been ripped down, but captured on the images was
some kind of large, hairy creature.
It's impossible to tell what the thing is, being that it's right up close to the camera,
but keep in mind, if the Redditor is to be believed, the trail camera was seven feet
off the ground.
So, his thing had to either climb, or it was just tall enough to reach it.
What do you think?
Was it a bear, hoax, or did this trail camera actually capture something far more unusual?
This next video is really cool, but oddly unnerving.
It's like a shot out of Evil Dead.
Some of you will get the reference.
Check this out.
The clip was posted to Reddit by OKSafety5344, who said they found it while going through
their late grandfather's old hard drives.
Their grandfather had passed away about three years earlier, and was an avid hunter who
regularly left trail cameras out in the woods.
Most of the files showed exactly what you'd expect, deer, bears, raccoons, if anything.
But then they came across this ten-second clip.
The camera is moving through the forest at a pretty good clip.
What stood out most to the uploader wasn't just how fast it was moving, but the way it
seemed to plow straight through the trees instead of weaving around them.
OKSafety5344 said they grew up exploring those woods, and remembered the trees being sturdy
enough to climb, making this footage even stranger.
The Redditor said they watched the clip over and over, but couldn't come up with a satisfying
explanation.
Their best guess was that some kind of animal had gotten hold of the camera, but they couldn't
explain the speed and power behind whatever seemed to be carrying it.
They also ruled out their grandfather, who was not physically capable of running like
that around the time the video was recorded.
Commenters had mixed thoughts, but one thing that kept coming up was a kind of disconcerted
feeling.
For some reason, this feels very uncanny, gives me a slight uncomfortable feeling, said
one Redditor.
I came here to say this, I don't like it, it's super weird, and gives me a huge case
of the heebie-jeebies, another responded.
One thing everyone agreed on, though, was how cool the footage is.
Add some grunge or death metal to this, you have a pretty sick music video.
Reddit user Sharst uploaded this trail camera image with the description, North Central
Wisconsin.
I'm not a photographer, but this seems strange.
There's no light source outside of the moon.
Pretty remote area with limited human access.
Now, I have no idea what this thing could be, but there were some interesting comments,
one that sent me off on a whole new internet conspiracy rabbit hole.
The top comment reads, That is one of my favorite conspiracy theories.
I had never heard of a rod before today, but tons of other users in the comments had fond
memories of listening to stories about them on paranormal radio shows like Coast to Coast
AM.
So in the paranormal and cryptozoology world, rods are these mysterious objects that seem
to appear in photos and videos as long, thin creatures flying through the air.
They're also called skyfish, air rods, or solar entities.
Some people believe they could be unknown flying creatures, alien lifeforms, or even
something existing outside of our normal understanding of reality.
The phenomenon became popular in the 90s after unusual shapes started showing up in camera
footage.
Unlike most cryptid sightings, rods became famous because people claimed cameras could
capture them even though the human eye couldn't see them.
Back in 2023, this strange trail camera image from Florida started getting a lot of attention
online.
The photo was taken in Ocala National Forest, inside a hunter's food plot.
What jumps out immediately is how ape-like this thing looks.
When you zoom in, the figure doesn't have the obvious look of a cheap costume though.
The fur appears thick and natural, and the face, or whatever part of the creature is
visible, doesn't have the same stiff appearance that you'd expect from a mask.
And this clip hit TikTok just recently, showing a very strange creature recorded on a trail
camera in the Appalachian Mountains back in 2025.
It doesn't really get much stranger than that.
Aside from this being a possible hoax, I don't really have a rational explanation.
If this is a genuine piece of footage, what this thing is, well, it's anyone's guess.
A number of comments say it looks like Mothman, a skinwalker, or some other shape-shifting
type creature.
One thing is for certain, though, it is incredibly off-putting.
But what do you think?

That's been the video.
I'll catch you, yes you specifically, in the next one.
