I Cried When I Saw What This Momma Bear did for Her Babies

One, two, three, go. Manila and Callie are making wishes to the dandelions, hoping they could fly. And Jess wants nothing more in life for her child to fly. I'm not going to pray it happens. I'm going to make it happen. I think it's how much you believe, how much you practice, and then you just got to yell it loud. Whoa, that was closer. I could tell. Mom, did you see it? He flew a little bit. Callie, no, no, no. I'm so excited to say this. Good morning from Alaska. Jess, it's been a long time coming for you. The longest. Alaska has been at the top of Jessica's bugger list for year after year. And unfortunately, for whatever crazy reason, it was getting canceled. And of all years, this year we happened to make it here. Right? You want to see our plane that we're going in? Oh, right there. That's going to be our plane. You want to sit by mom or dad? Thank you. Uh, it was the one and only thing I really wanted to do this summer was come to Alaska. Um, actually about two years ago, we were reached out to by this wonderful, incredible, stunning property in Homer, Alaska. Um, it's called second star mansion. And as soon as Jessica showed it to me, I was like, Jess, you got to make this your dream trip. Got all your family, all of your friends, because this place is massive and epic. This is so big. All right, let's go explore. We're here. No way. Tasty inside. I think it's a library slash game room. Oh my goodness. Look at this view. Let's check out that room. We're done. Okay. Let's keep going. Wow. Wait for me guys. That is a big fridge. What? Look how cool this one behind you is. Wow. This one's beautiful. Look at this bathroom. Oh, wow. It keeps coming. Ooh. I think I'm on this room. Look at this. Jeez. So pretty. Right? What the, it feels like we're in this little town already. Oh, look, it's like a little like candy store. It's like an ice cream shop. How do you get in there? Oh, it's that way. I think we just ended up in a movie. Wow. It doesn't feel like you're in a house. There's no way. What? Are you serious? What the? Okay. We have to surprise mom when she comes up here. Wait, wait, wait. The thing that I love most about it, I think is just the attention to detail. Like it's like Disney world standard of just like details in the art and the design. That's a good way to put it. Cause there's like so much like love and passion and just thought that went into the design and details of this, but it's really, really special. Whoa. Wow. Hey buddy. Where did you guys even go? Where are you? Guys wait for Callie and then come surprise them. You're in a boat, another room, the picture is just like, the kids are in heaven. Hey, who's still trying to potty train? Look at this. It's a baby potty. It's so tiny. A fun fact, but it's for sale. It's for sale. It was in the news because it was such like an Epic house hitting the market for sale. And a lot of locals like know the house have spent time here, have been to events here. So if there's anyone who's a baller and is looking for an amazing, incredible place here in Homer, Alaska, check it out. Wow. I like this room. Whoa. And when you bring him my way, each time you say goodnight, we'll thank the little star that shines the second to the right. How do you even explain a property like this? You, you can't. Even when I saw the pictures online, I didn't know what to expect. The pictures were beautiful, but it is again, like just nothing, nothing can do this place justice. It is the perfect place to gather like so many people for endless fun. You're going to love 20 million percent. Jess, push him down. Yay. I mean, do you guys want to hold up the number two? So what is it about Alaska? I don't know. It's fantastic. It's, I don't know why it was so high. When Dave and Liz landed, they're like, you guys found New Zealand in America. And there's a lot of similarities. Just the stunning beauty of the landscape and the nature here. No support. Still not deep enough. Check out that rock. Sick. Whoa. There's support right there. Yeah. I mean, I bumped right into the rock. I was on my belly and it was just letting me get so close to it. And then I realized I'm like, and I realized this is a pretty vulnerable position to be in laying on my belly with a bald eagle right in front of me. So I started to get up to my knees and that's when it flew away. I was so close, especially on my zoom lens. Get mom, get mom, get her. When we arrived to Alaska, there was one thing I wanted to do. I wanted to see. You've never been in what? Oh my goodness. Fun fact. I'm flying today. You had never seen bears ever, right? No, no bears. And it's such a weird thing. Like a bear is such a common animal, like as far as like reputation goes and then to be like, have I ever seen a bear? And so, oh man, that moment when you see a bear for the first time. I'll never forget it. And I remember that morning being so excited. Like the day we knew we were going to look at bears being like, this is a first, it was going to be one of those first days. Like your first day on safari where you're like, first day on safari, first time getting in the water with shark. Like there's only so many firsts in your life. And we like, we had that feeling going into it. Like we're about to see bears in the wild for our first time ever. So how old do you think those bears are? Oh, she's hugging her little baby. Hi. Yeah, I got that. This is going to get crazy. She's going to come out. Okay. Where'd she go? She went diving. That is such a mistake that I've never shared on camera. Oh my gosh, she's gone. Grab my snorkel mask. She's gone. She's popping up right here. Especially in this temperature. So you saw that bear diving, right? Is that the most incredible thing ever? It's not like a common thing for bears. This bear is unique in that it learned from its mother how to dive down. Like bears can swim. That's a known thing. And bears will like get fish in the water, but to deep dive, you know, I respect a deep diver. Gosh, that's so sick. Jess, the mama's gone. Go hug her cup. Oh my gosh. I am that mother bear. It's a leap of faith. Step away from the comfort zone and be a little brave to take a look around you. How far can you see? How far do you think you can run standing on your knees?
