New bridge, same traffic: Why is the road to the Ambassador Bridge still packed with trucks?

Despite the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, heavy truck traffic continues to congest Huron Church Road. While the goal was to divert commercial vehicles away from the Ambassador Bridge, the transition is happening gradually as trucking companies update customs paperwork, dispatch systems, and driver routes.
