Concerning Cyberattacks On Water Facilities May Be Linked To Iran

The FBI is investigating a cyberattack targeting over 30 water systems across at least seven U.S. states, including Minnesota. Attackers remotely accessed industrial controllers, causing loss of monitoring, pressure drops, and flooding. While no water quality issues were reported in Minnesota, the FBI is examining whether Iran-affiliated hackers are responsible based on the methods used.
