Today is the 11th of June.
I wanted to give a garden update.
And we're here for the green beans.
As they grow very fast.
Yeah.
So this was half of the onion here.
And it's on the horizon.
And we have some flowers here.
And basically that's what we're going to do for the first day.
We're going to look at the plants.
Some of them are starting to fall over.
A lot of it's going to go off that road.
And some come this way.
But I'm going to take some.
The weather is so good.
It's okay to dry everything out.
I'll give you the wee garden update inside the polytunnel.
Everything is quite booming in here.
Wow.
I have some more onions here that I took yesterday.
More onions drying here.
I just think that looks so cool.
My two sunflowers I'm keeping in here today because it's so windy.
I have one pea plant that self germinated from last year.
And there's a couple of peas already.
Three cabbages that are working in here.
I'm surprised.
I didn't think we'd get cabbage working in such hot conditions in this polytunnel.
And I just have flowers.
Another sunflower there.
And then a cucumber plant.
I planted far too many of these.
But they're super easy to grow.
Some more flowers.
Then I put some green beans in here.
So they're just going to grow up this string.
Rhubarb.
More green beans and flowers.
Then we have our courgettes.
We have a few of them.
And then tomato plants.
They're going now.
Grapes.
More tomatoes.
Lovely.
I can't wait until they're ripe.
And then we have more cucumber plants.
We have a tree here.
Look at them when they're small.
So cute.
If you don't eat that many cucumbers, just grow one plant.
There's no need for four.
Unless you have family that loves them.
Another grape plant.
These are Leon's.
There's two on the back.
And then courgettes.
We're getting a lot of courgettes this year.
We have one, two, three, four, five, six.
I'm counting on that plant.
Then we have another courgette beside it.
We have a few on this one too.
The asparagus.
We're going to plant that outside.
We're looking for a spot in the garden.
Because it's getting too big for in here.
And next year we'll get the proper asparagus.
This is the second year.
Third year is when you get the asparagus that you buy in the shop.
More courgettes blooming.
That's a nice one.
This is the spuds I got from the garden.
This is probably one fourth of them.
So I think this was a good amount.
Last year we didn't really get that much.
And these are good size spuds.
So we'll have to dig up the rest of them.
They're dying back, so we'll do that soon enough.
