She Lived on a 1 Meter Chain With a Giant Tumor—Her Ending Left Millions in Tears!
A concerned neighbor contacted WEACT after discovering a Korean Jindo living on a short chain with a massive tumor that left her in constant pain. When rescuers arrived, they found not only the suffering dog but seven other neglected dogs living in the same harsh conditions. Hidden in a nailed-shut wooden crate, they also discovered three terrified puppies trapped in darkness, covered in waste, and fighting to survive. The rescue exposed the cruel reality of dogs forced to spend their entire lives on one-meter chains, with little food, no comfort, and no freedom. The female Jindo, later named Dear, had never known kindness but still held onto the will to live. She underwent a difficult surgery that removed a tumor weighing nearly half her body weight and began a remarkable recovery. With love, medical care, and the support of compassionate people, Dear learned to walk again, found a temporary foster home, and was eventually adopted by a loving forever family. One by one, the other rescued dogs also found safe homes, proving that compassion, hope, and a second chance can transform even the most heartbreaking lives.
