Soaking rain, winds continue from Arkansas to Florida

Florida is facing severe drought conditions, particularly in Tallahassee and Jacksonville. A combination of a stationary boundary, a developing trough, and mid-upper level energy is expected to bring much-needed thunderstorms and rain to the region, starting along the I-10 corridor and continuing through early next week.
