Hannah Harper (American Idol Winner) Covers "Travelin' Soldier" Live

Fresh off my American Idol run, I sat down during a recent Shoptalk Live session to share this live bluegrass cover of "Travelin' Soldier" with you all.

This is such a beautifully written, heartbreaking song—originally by Bruce Robison and made famous by The Chicks. I was incredibly lucky to be joined live by the amazing John, Jeremy, and Jason Chapman (The Chapmans) to bring this special bluegrass arrangement to life. It’s always been one of my favorite songs, and getting to strip it down and play it with these guys was an absolute honor.
