In this video we ride the full counter-clockwise loop of Jekyll Island starting right from our spot at the Jekyll Island Campground. With over 20 miles of dedicated paved bike paths, hard-packed sandy beaches, and a fascinating mix of history, nature, and coastal scenery, Jekyll Island is one of the most surprisingly spectacular cycling destinations on the entire East Coast — and honestly, we weren't ready for how good it was.

We explore the iconic Jekyll Island Historic District — where the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, and Pulitzers retreated every winter — ride the famous Driftwood Beach boardwalk, discover the history behind St. Andrews Beach Park, stop at Clam Creek Fishing Pier, cruise through ancient maritime forest, cross a stunning salt marsh boardwalk, and time the tides just right to ride our bikes right up the shoreline. Plus we hit some great local food spots along the way.
