'There was debris everywhere': Police chase ends with truck crashing into several businesses

A police pursuit ended early Wednesday when a truck crashed into a traffic signal and several businesses at the intersection of Lancaster and Ardmore avenues in Ardmore, leaving extensive property damage, according to authorities.

By daylight, much of the debris had been cleared, but damage remained visible.

The truck crashed through the front door and window of Nanu's Hot Chicken, which has since been boarded up and closed for repairs.

The crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. after Radnor Township police said officers attempted to stop the truck on Lancaster Avenue near the township border.
