We're in Portugal!
We've been here for the last three days in Lisbon and we've been exploring the city,
seeing castles. I know we've been kind of bad about vlogging the first part but we'll attach
some pictures so you guys can see what we've been having the best time. It's been so fun,
we just have Libby with us this trip. Say hi! There you go! Good job! She's been having such
a great time and so we, the big kids, are all back home with my mom in Virginia so they're
also having a great time. But right now we're getting in our rental car and we're gonna go
down the coast. Yes, we're excited. Algarve? Algarve? Yeah, Algarve. Let's go!
All right, this is our first stop on our way down to the Algarve Coast.
What is this town called again? I don't know what this town is called but this restaurant is called
Santubal. There it is right there. So here is where we are. Santubal? All right, stop number one.
What do you think? You like gelato? I got chocolate, corn, still dairy-free. I think we've seen this
little place so I'm gonna go to the next spot. So I thought I'd take a scenic coastal route and
now we're getting on a boat. A ferry. We're getting on a ferry. We don't know when it leaves. We don't
know where it goes. I was like, we'll just take this this way. Okay. Into the ocean. Let's do it.
All right, what do you think? You like it? It's cool. Say hi, Santa!
Hi baby. So many jellyfish. Crazy and they're huge. Okay, so we drove down. This is called Porto Covo.
Turn around.
What does she think? She knows what to think. What do you think of the bird? Say hi.
We made it to the Algarve. This is our room. It's looking awesome.
We're told that she wants to move in. Yeah, I'd be okay with that.
She's gonna leave. I'm gonna go back home. She's gonna stay here.
It's cool. Oh man. It's Father's Day. Look at this face. You're so sweet. He's never looked younger.
So we had a really exciting day yesterday. That's just what we're gonna stick to. So we bought a
We will be cleaning thoroughly at meals. It's her first time ever being sick. I was so sad. She's up with a fever.
She's taking a nap in the back. She was honestly making us look like liars at the hospital because
she was so happy and like clapping and waving to people. It was the cutest. She's great today.
We're gonna go on a little hike. Our father of the day wants to go hiking so we're going hiking
and we'll just see how it goes. We're gonna take it easy. Yeah, we're gonna take it easy.
I'm really excited to see some of the cliffside beaches and hiking trails. Everyone's been really
nice. I really like it here. I want to come back with all the kids. Yeah, we're contemplating
moving here, right? Oh my gosh. Just kidding. But I do not know if it's like a Portuguese thing but
the staff at both of the places we've been staying has been incredibly helpful
and they're just so caring and sweet and I just feel so lucky. I don't know if it's like that
everywhere here but they've been amazing. So we'll share where we stayed in Lisbon and here
if you guys are interested but let's go hike. Why is it so stinky on this hike?
Pretty cool. We're going on a boat. We're going on a boat. On a ride. So they
informed us that this looks like an animal. What do you guys think?
What does it look like? This formation here.
There's literally like no one here. I know. It looks so cool. It's cool. So we're on the beach
and Ari and I have been racking our brains on what we should bring back as souvenirs for the kids.
We found these shells on the beach that are perfect. They have little
holes so we're gonna make matching family necklaces on the plane to bring back.
Should be cool. We'll tell them that we found them on the beach that we stayed at and we were
thinking about them and I feel like it's a lot more meaningful than another stuffy. Although
they would really like a stuffy. Always want a stuffy. You're watching this back guys. I'm
sorry that we didn't give you a stuffy. I think they'll be okay. Look how big this one is. Oh yeah
that is cool. So pretty. I just wanted to say that we are so lucky to have Ari as the daddy to,
well I guess I'm lucky to have him as the dad of my kids and they're lucky to have him as well.
And this is a really special way to spend Father's Day. I'll never forget it. Especially the other
kids are here today. I know. You want to see this big shell? Here you go. It's as big as your head.
But it's fun to celebrate you like this. And thanks for making me a dad.
Hi. You're eating it. Our trip is coming to an end. Yeah. It was so amazing. It was incredible
honestly. Such good memories with this little one. We'll always talk about this trip with you Lizzie.
Yes and we'll always show you. We'll show you this video back. Yes. Good times. But everything was so
cool. Especially the last day with the boat and that dinner. It was incredible. Alright well
until the next one. See you guys. Bye. Bye. Say bye.
