In 2012, journalist, curator and museum director Keiran Long revisits two building restorations - which both took a lot of money to save! One man sold everything including his home and business to buy an old ancient manor on the bank of the river Clwyd in Wales. He dreamed of transforming the forgotten property into his new home. But with absolutely no money to spend and doing all the work he can himself - can he do the impossible? Plus a couple bought a 19th century mansion located on the outskirts of Milton Keyes. They wanted to turn the grade II listed star building into their new dream home.
