Certain Activities Carried Out in the Border Area (Costa Rica v Nicaragua) (Value of environment)

In this international law case, the court accepted that harmful activities by Nicaragua, which damaged the environment in Costa Rica, were damages for which Costa Rica could seek compensation. However the court found it very difficult to arrive at a quantum of damages for such harm.
