WEEK IN MY LIFE (45 mins long) nashville stitch tour, sierra's wedding, reset with me

You're coming! The humidity is kind of... That's the worst part. The temperature is not beautiful. Yeah, I thought it was going to be a nightmare. Wait, oh my gosh! Can you guys see this? I don't know. I'm not going to pick it up until I go through it all. I'm so excited to have it done. How long have you done a belt before? How long has it taken you to go? Well, I got it in September. And I didn't really stitch on it until we started the background. And so it's going on for days. And I just taught myself how to basket weave. I taught myself how to basket weave. It's brutal. Last week it was like 100 degrees. I was sick. I was in Texas a lot. I was in Tennessee a lot. It's just the humidity. It's thick. It's bad. It feels like you're being assaulted. In Dallas, it doesn't feel like that. It's just sort of sticking all the time. I just want to walk outside. Did you really? Yeah. That's so... Oh my gosh, that. I didn't even realize you had that on. Oh, I'd love to know. Wait. It's the red wing I was checking. Red wing. The famous. Charlie's going to die. That is so... Oh my god, that's so... Oh my god. Today is Tuesday. Yesterday, I was just trying to catch up as much as possible. I reached a level of exhaustion that like has to be some sort of like hormonal thing. Last week was so amazing. Sorry I didn't say hello before the Nashville tour. It just kind of like popped up really quickly. And then we started filming and I forgot to like do a true intro. Anyway, last week we went and toured a bunch of venues. And then from there, we went straight to Nashville. We did the Nashville tour. And then I recorded a podcast. I got to see some of my like favorite people ever. It was such a good week, but I'm so tired. And this week, we are back in Texas for the week. Sierra is getting married this weekend. I'm so excited. I changed my dress last minute, so I have a new one that I overnighted that's coming here this week. I'm really happy because my two best friends, Macy and Dom, are going to be in town, which is just going to be so fab. Macy already had lunch with y'all when they've been dating I think officially like 12 hours. You know, she just loves you guys. But she has a boyfriend and he's like super sweet. I actually haven't even met him still, but I feel like I know everything about him. So we're meeting him this weekend. It's going to be a really, a really big week. I'm so excited for Sierra. Like it's just... Also, I cannot believe how fast time goes. Like I remember us talking like when they first got engaged and then to now. Like I remember us talking about the date of the wedding and stuff. And like it really felt like it was so far away. And the fact that it's just like already here is insane. Also, thank you guys so much for all the love. I haven't like sat down to like a normal proper vlog clip. But thank you so much for all the love on the updated podcast stuff. I am just loving it. And like, oh my god, I'm just so grateful. Like every single day. I mean, not even just right now, but like especially right now. Every single day, I'm just so grateful for you guys. Because honestly, you guys are just the best. I think number one, like being able to be doing this Stitch Tour and seeing you guys in real life. Obviously, it's a very different experience than like messages and stuff online. Because you're with each other like in person. And it just like is so cool. Every time I went to Papa, the number one thing that I said to me is these girls are the nicest girls in the world. And like they are, you guys are literally just the best. When we're in line at Stitch Tour and like I will come out and like say hello and stuff before the doors open. I forget every single time that you guys didn't all come together. Because everyone knows each other. Like everyone has become friends. Everyone's like sitting in line like stitching together. It seriously seems like you all came. Like that is why you should never be afraid to come alone to any events. Because all of these girls are coming along, most of them. Or maybe with a friend and they leave and they know like literally everyone. I was getting messages off to Dallas from girls that had met in line that like went out to dinner together. And then it's only Tuesday. And I've already gotten messages of in Nashville of girls doing that. And it was just the nicest like sweetest thing ever. Also if you guys want the Nashville Canvases. I like cancelled my work because I was like look I just have to get things done. Like I am unwell. Okay. And also we have a new team member starting today. Which is really exciting. And much needed. She's going to be helping me primarily with a ton of stuff. And just like helping run front of mine. And all that stuff. And they get here around 9am. Also. I just want to throw this out here. Or out there. Um. I think this might be a bad idea. But I do just want to say. That by the end of the year. I am wanting to hire like another like junior designer. Who would specifically go in for like needlepoint stuff. We would also be able to teach you that program. That would not be hard. We're definitely more like design forward than we are like just wanting like needlepoint. Like we need like a junior designer who can like help with like graphics and stuff. But like mainly it would be like needlepoint designs and things like that. Um. And then also we would be looking for like a social girl. And that would only be like full time hires in Dallas. So I don't want like agencies. I don't want anything. I want like a full time Dallas hire. Two hires for those. Um. I don't know exactly when we're going to be able to do that. When that's happening. I have a lot of calls into like our account and stuff. So they're actually like running this stuff this week. Anyway. The team is growing. And just putting that out there. Like I feel like. Like I would host a dinner party. And I was like. Like the amount of people would bring. I'm like. Oh my god. We could feed like. 5x. The amount of people that we have here. But they always bring gifts. They always do whatever. They're just like. So cute and southern. It like inspired me. To be a way better host. And like way better hostess gifts. And things like that. Like those are not super expensive. None of them are expensive. Like. Most of these. I got for. A couple of dollars. At antique stores. A couple. I've bought online. I bought them a couple years ago though. So I cannot remember. Like exactly. What I paid for them. But. Like. You can go to an antique store. And get really great. Great. Cute. Plates. For very inexpensive. Doing a plate wall. If you do it that way. Can be really. Cost effective. Also. It's definitely like. Way cheaper than like. Getting a legit. Art piece and stuff. I use the Amazon. Like. Plate wall. Hangers. Um. And they're super easy. My mom is an interior decorator. So. She helps me actually hang them. And I've been collecting plates. I actually have. A ton. At our photographer's studio. Right now. That are gonna get picked up. For me tomorrow. And. Those are bowls. That I won't be able to use. But I'm just going through. And counting them. Because my mom and I. Think it's gonna be around. Sixty five. Plates. If I were to guess. And if I am doing. The math correctly. Which I'm probably not. But. I think I need about. Forty more. Marketplace. This Meredith Hall got me. Which is one of my favorite plates ever. This one I thought was so cool. I got these in like. Bundles on basic marketplace. And they kind of like. Do this. Really. I mean. It's not. There's people on basic marketplace. That will just collect these. And like. Make them into a bundle for you. These are not bundles. These are all like. Mixed up. And I have different things going for me now. Anyway. And a lot of the really. My cute. Like. The favorite ones that I have. Are at the photographer's house. But I love this. It's gonna be just like. Really colorful. And really. Really fun. We also got this when we were in. Charleston. From an antique store. It's obviously not an antique. But I thought this would be fun. And also this is like. A true nod to. If you guys don't know. Dolly. The chicken. The mascot for. Friend of mine. My home and hobby band. Dolly. Is like. Just our mascot. Because I grew up in the era. Of like. Roosters being all over. Your home. As far as like. Home decor. Whether it be the wallpaper. Or the plates. Or the little like. Like the actual chickens. Out and about. Not like. Living chickens. I mean like. Can you guys tell. I'm losing it today. But like. Back in the early 2000s. When roosters were the decor. All my family. Most of them. They're interior decorators. And we all had like. The same houses. And like. It's just very like. It's a nod to my childhood. Anyway. We have more of these. How cute. And then I have. These. Probably won't be used for the plate wall. But we might use. I mean. These would be. Some of these. More cabbage. These were probably. The biggest like. Investment pieces. I've been collecting these. For years now. But. Harrison and I. I just feel like I kind of messed her up when I was like rehydrating her. Okay. This is like really gonna be a mess. Um. I'm a little bit insecure about it. And I'm like worried. Because I. For the longest time. Had not made a bad loaf. Really. Ever. And then. Towards the end of my time in Nashville. Like something was happening with that starter. So now. I've started a new starter again. And blah blah blah. And I'm like. Ugh. Also this is so crazy to have. This kind of cheese in here. It's not gonna get the same effect. I will say. I like that it's store-bought Italian. Dressing. Here's the thing. I. Like don't actually like store-bought dressings now. That I like started to make my own. But I don't like to make my own dressing. Like something that's like. Ugh. I don't know why. I just hate it. Maybe we should just top it with these. But whatever. I also just love.
