We are starting our forensic journey in Siena. So we got the train in pretty late last night
and Siena is one of the largest cities within kind of the Tuscan countryside but we're not
actually going to travel to any of like the neighboring towns because we don't have a car
so we're just going to take our time and like thoroughly enjoy Siena before heading up to
Florence tomorrow actually. Our goal is to embrace the siesta culture that lives within Italy which
is just eating enjoying time with loved ones over a good glass of wine. So that's kind of
our trajectory for this entire few days we're here while also obviously appreciating the arts
the culture that lives within this region of Italy. What else are we doing? We're also eating
but we'll be eating a lot this trip. Molly's in the other room she's working because she's a
workaholic um but she's laughing because she's not a workaholic but she has great work ethic.
Anyways! Neither of us slept all that great last night. I've been up for a few hours and was
harassing her this morning. So we're gonna get a coffee which will make me insufferably worse
and then we're going straight to a winery so backing up coffee with wine. Maybe not the best pairing
but that's okay and but it's paired with lunch so we're not just
empty stomaching it. We will have some sustenance I promise. It is a little bit
more overcast this weekend so it will be a rainy Italian journey which all the more
means to go inside and eat a good meal so we're okay with that.
I really jumped for it. She leaped!
Woke up in aggressive mood this morning.
She woke up and I immediately like. That's an aggressive alarm. Her alarm is like aggressive
wind chimes. I'm sorry. Whose alarm is that? I like to wake up feeling frightened. I like to
wake up feeling peaceful. If it's peaceful I won't wake up. No wonder you're always on edge.
She's waking up to I'm waking up to nice peaceful crescending music. This is charming. Look at this.
And it's bright. The sun wants to come out.
It is time to explore the streets of Firenze. It is so lovely out. We're so lucky with the
weather. We thought it was going to rain all weekend and it's been so sunny. And look at
I mean that doesn't look promising but I promise it's nice but we're gonna go get a little snack
hopefully and then go do the Duomo because it is Easter weekend so we're worried that
Easter Sunday and Monday it's going to be hectic. You're not with us. My hair has redeemed itself. I know it looks
Oh my god it was so frizzy in Siena. Can we please do the transition that I want to do? Do it.
Okay wait do it again. Wait I think I have to be on this side. Ready set.
Nobody. So if you're ever gonna play and you still want to drink wine.
And I don't even like coffee.
Good coffee.
We have just completed our cooking class and it is absolutely stunning out so we are just
sitting at the front of the entrance to the garden which is where we're going to go next.
It's our last day in Firenze so just enjoy the day.
This might be the most beautiful place we've ever been in our entire lives.
Actually. Like stunning. So pretty. Views? 10 out of 10. Landscaping? 10 out of 10.
Yeah that's all I have to say. 10 out of 10. Guess what our rating and review is.
