Cecelia: Because I will always stand up for people who are oppressed. And the fact that 27 years later, the Falun Gong practitioners are being oppressed for their expression of beauty and, as you say, forbearance and truth and compassion, it's intolerable. So anyone that learns about it should stand up for them and for you, anyone. You're helping them, right? Right. By you publishing this, you're helping them, and you're helping people to understand that they're still being persecuted. Right. And I was particularly grieved to learn that they're no longer allowed in China to visit the graves or cemeteries where Falun Gong believers or practitioners are buried. And I know it's an integral part of Chinese culture to honor ancestors. So that's terrible. And it's only because my image is like an alligator. When an alligator gets its prey, it clamps down tighter when it feels that it's losing it. And I feel that that's what China is doing. It feels that it's losing the battle, so it's clamping down tighter. And this is not a battle to lose. Beauty must live. Right. That's why lilies grow in mud. You know, lilies grow in mud, right? And Falun Gong is like a lily that is growing in the mud of communism in my mind. So whenever this exists, I will always be there.

Reporter : Do you think that New York City is also facing the Communism infiltration?
Cecelia: No. No. Because democracy is very dynamic. And if we have a bad leader, they only have a short time to lead. If we have a good leader, we keep them around for a long time. And this man is not doing a good job. So if people don't thrive under his leadership, he will leave. A few people cannot support 8 million people, can they? No. Doesn't make sense. So he can say whatever he wants to do. It will not happen, right?

Reporter : Have you heard about the transnational repression of Falun gong in the U.S. the CCP tried to attempt to launch the campaign to persecute Falun Gong.
Cecelia: Do that because they fear it. You now, as Fred said, It's 28% of the Chinese population. And the population in China is going down every year. The birth rate in China is lower than the birth rate around the world. So of course, China will try to suppress it anywhere it can. But we won't let that happen. That's why I said, just like those buildings stand as guardians, we will stand for you. This is a democracy, right? We'll help you. If you ask for help, we will help you.

Reporter : Do you think the Americans should also pay attention and concern about the human rights and the stop of the persecution of Falun Gong?
Cecelia: Of course, because it means Falun Gong is a spiritual practice. And our Constitution and our Bill of Rights say that we're allowed to publicly assemble and we're allowed to have spiritual and religious freedom. It's one of our basic beliefs and rights. If they don't pay attention, they're sleeping on their rights.

Reporter :Now there are more than 460 million Chinese people quit the CCP and more than 5 million international people signed the petition of end the CCP campaign. Do you think what's the significance and how do you think about it?
Cecelia: Well, that says that the Chinese economic system, Sorry, the economic system is failing and their political system is failing. You cannot keep on pressing down. Eventually the pressure must give up, right? They're not. What are they offering their people? No promise, no hope. You cannot do that all the time. It's as if you discipline a child. If you always tell the child that the child is bad, what will happen? The child won't love you. It's the same thing, right?

Reporter :Do you have any words to the people in China who are questioning the system and ideology of CCP but still hesitate and afraid to quit the ccp?
Cecelia:Don't be afraid. Come here. They can find a way to come here. We will welcome them. We will welcome them. Canada will welcome them. England will welcome them. There's an organization in England that will help them get asylum. You know, there are many places they can go.

Reporter :Last question. Do you have any words want to say to the US community and the international community to call for stop the persecution of Falun Gong?
Cecelia: Yes. Don't give up. We will help you. If you need money, let us know. If you need volunteers, let us know. Let us know what you need. It's clearly a good, a good cause. Americans love good causes. Remember we started the Red Cross. Everybody knows about the Red Cross, right? That was started by one woman here in New York State. Did you know that? She started that in New York State. Now it's worldwide. That was 170 years ago, but it goes all over the world. So you can do that too.
Reporter :Thank you.
