Billy Bush predicts the Amy Griffin saga will end with "The Tell" author cutting a big check

What I see is not enough coming from Amy that's concrete.
And Jolene has several declarations from people.
She's got a woman named LaRonda with whom she worked
at a children's abuse facility center camp
where the counselors and teachers are survivors themselves.
And then there's the corroborator of the boy
that went to the dance with her.
And then there's the girl who was also
in the foster home with her.
There's a lot of pieces there.
If this judge doesn't say there's enough merit
to go forward, that's unbelievable.
So Jolene's suit is in California
and Amy filed her own in Nevada and it was a federal.
Obviously Jolene doesn't come from a lot of money.
Her lawyer works on contingency,
but when you're a defendant, you can't work on contingency.
So to keep that case going, that's gonna bankrupt.
So she's fighting to keep this a federal case
that would be very expensive.
That's the other thing, Amy Griffin has so much money.
She can further victimize this woman whose story
I believe and just bankrupt her and just bully her.
I really did think Amy Griffin
would have just written her a check.
After the judge rules, is she gonna be one of those people
who's so in deep that she doesn't
and she's gonna see it all the way through?
Or does she say, look, this has gone too far.
I don't want this to go any further.
Here's a check.
She's hoping right now that it gets thrown out.
But if he says it goes forward,
I still think even though it's gonna sting
and it's gonna look terrible,
I think she would be wise to cut a check.
