However, this victory leads to a curse from Poseidon, complicating their perilous journey home while Odysseus's family continues to wait in hope and despair.
Odysseus, we need a break. Five minutes or something. Everyone is exhausted. It is getting dark soon. We need to find food and a place to sleep.
Captain! Over here! I found an entrance!
Don't be alone. We all miss him. He's somewhere out there. He promised to come back.
I am a mother. A mother's heart tells me he will never come back. I cannot bear this pain anymore.
Help me, please.
Not yet, son. This is not for your age.
I want to impress my father with my skills when he comes back.
Hey, guys, look!
Stop playing.
Fresh cheese.
Someone lives here.
Odysseus, you don't want to eat?
No, you eat. I'll join you later.
Hey, I think I just found where we can sleep tonight.
Would you like to join me? Show us your strength.
I don't need to prove anything.
Nobody move, I think. We'll find out soon.
You little man. What are you doing in my cave?
We are your guests. Would you accept guests for one night?
What do you say?
You ate all my food. You drank all my milk.
Would you like some cheese? Bring some cheese. There.
I'll lay down. Bring your food.
Yes. You need to eat, rest, and drink our wine. It is the drink of the gods.
Odysseus probably has a plan.
This is cheese. Taste it, then try our wine. It is the finest wine you'll ever drink.
I'll taste your drink first.
After that, we'll decide.
Bring the wine!
Let's take the wine.
I have an important announcement. Soon, there will be a contest.
The contest will decide who is worthy. Until then, my waving will continue.
Try it. Go on. You've never tasted anything like this.
I'll sleep now.
When I wake up, bring me more.
Miss Nobody. No-ba-dy.
All right, Nobody. Good night.
Every night, you undo your work. Every morning, you begin again.
How much longer can your heart carry this?
Ready. Lift it carefully.
Nobody!
Brothers! Neighbors!
What is he doing?
Keep quiet. He's calling his brothers. That's bad for us.
Polyphilius!
What happened? What is your trouble?
Nobody! Nobody has blinded me!
If nobody has blinded you, then no one can help you!
Pray to our father, Poseidon!
Do exactly as I do.
What are you doing?
We're getting them to the entrance.
The backs. He never checks underneath.
He only checks their backs. We're going underneath.
Under them?
Like this.
There! Move! Push!
I'll find you, Nobody!
If anyone asks who blinded you, tell them it was Odysseus!
What would you tell him?
Father!
Punish Odysseus!
Don't let him return home!
Beautiful. Why work so hard?
Mother, when will father come home?
I don't know. But I know he'll never stop trying.
How much longer will you make us wait?
Odysseus is never coming back.
As long as I still have hope, I will wait.
Do you hear that?
Listen.
I've never seen this island before.
Do you hear that?
Everyone! Cover your ears!
Listen carefully.
No matter what you hear, do not follow the voices.
Bring me the beast facts.
Leave mine. Tie me to the mast.
Why?
Just do what I say.
Untie me! Please!
I said untie me! It's over!
We've left them behind.
One day I'll protect father's home.
My little hero.
It's too quiet.
I've never seen waters like these.
Stop rowing!
Something's ahead.
What lives in there?
