Dominika Salkova vs. Barbora Krejcikova | 2026 Prague Quarterfinal | WTA Match Highlights

nicely done and did the job there good combination just keeping tabs on Krichikova she plays that combination so well carefully controlled lovely the point construction was on point there that will do as an opening set just over half an hour of real quality from Barbora Krichikova with the first serve leading the charge very neat and tidy from the number two seed she has the first break starting to give Krichikova the run around a little bit authoritative found it oh yes just guided that cross court again steered into the open court expertly Barbora Krichikova gets it done despite a spirited fight back from who was threatening to get back on serve at the end of that second set but the athens champion continues to roll through matches and win them that's eight in a row now what an effort it's been last week and this and the former champion into the semi-finals in Prague but you said that match against Adršek is always hard so how hard was this one for you oh i mean it's been very i mean it's always difficult and this one was also difficult we played quarterfinals already and and and yeah i mean it was obviously tough tough match yeah i mean i'm happy i'm through and yeah this is eight win in a row for you and in those eight games you lost set only once what are the reasons behind that that you are in such a good place right now oh i mean it's a good question i mean we did a lot of work before uh before um before we went to this tournament so so i think it's it's kind of coming that work and the match rhythm and and yeah that's that's pretty much it thank you so much
