8X Slow Motion: The Brutal Reality of Osprey Hunting

Imagine what it must be like to be a bird. Freedom. Now imagine what it must be like to be this bird, completely dependent on an animal from an entirely different world. From the air to the sea, no bird on our planet is quite like this one, the osprey. And this one's struggle has just begun. The bird's razor-sharp talons have found their way into a large Atlantic manhattan, a fish that isn't leaving its ocean home easily. And somewhere below the surface, this fish is fighting for its life. The power this bird holds in its massive wingspan is unmatched, but its grip isn't perfect. The heaviest part of the fish isn't supported. The osprey knows exactly how to fix this problem. Imagine what it must be like to be a bird. Now imagine what it must be like to be this bird. A winged beast who rises from the water like a phoenix rises from the ashes. The osprey.
