1. I know that your cause is a fundamental part of American
history and this country's founding tradition. There are 3 good
books I wanted to call your attention to. The first one is by a
Pulitzer Prize winner by the name of Charles Krauthammer, a
winner of the Pulitzer Prize. It's called Things That Matter.

2. It discusses what you're doing and why it matters. The
second book — there's a book by a former mayor,
controversial, he did things one way or the other, Rudy
Giuliani. There's a book on leadership, for when you want to
make some things happen.

3. Good and bad times. The last book I want all your attention
to is Bill Bradley's Values of the Game. We all know Bill
Bradley, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and
he knew how to use those values.

4. I want to thank you for allowing me to speak. We share a
common background — right, and freedom. My family: I came
here 10 years after the English landed in 1620. My family came
over in 1630. I know I look older, but I'm not quite that old.

5. Um, the United States has a wonderful cause, and it's a

does. It's called freedom.

6. The US has freedom. That's why people come here. That's
why people who are oppressed come here. And here we have

behind you — a country that was founded on rebellion, against
conscription and every kind of taking away of freedoms.
