Bear Safety in Glacier National Park- it's not like Disneyland

How to stay safe in Glacier National Park. It is home to 1000 bears, lots of moose, Big Horn sheep, mountain lions, mountain goats and other WILD creatures. It's their home not ours. Too many assume animals in National Parks are domesticated- they are not. In May of 2026 a man was killed on a trail by a bear and another was attacked and had to be helicoptered to a Hospital.
